I’m a PhD candidate in the Department of History at Simon Fraser University specializing in the fields of Aboriginal history, Canadian cultural and social history, and gender and sexuality in colonialism.
My SSHRC-funded research project explores the connections between Stó:lō cultural curation and political activism in the twentieth century. This project is being supervised by Dr. Mary-Ellen Kelm.
I also work as a teaching assistant for courses like pre- and post-Confederation Canada, and the history of sexuality, and as a research assistant for my supervisor.
I hold a Master of Museum Studies from the University of Toronto (2010) and a Bachelor of Arts in History and French from SFU (2008).
